By accessing or using Battle of the Bands (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, without limitation: attempting to disrupt or circumvent security, scraping the Service in violation of robots.txt or rate limits, impersonating others, or uploading content you do not have the right to share.
5. Content & Likeness
The Service features local musicians who have consented to appear. If you are an artist depicted in the Service and would like your likeness removed or updated, contact us and we will address it promptly.
By submitting content (photos, bios, links, feedback) you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and modify that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its name, design, code, and original content, is owned by the operators of Battle of the Bands and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
